Everyone has got different opinion on Pogba. I like the lad very much despite his poor performance in the Euros. (Even Martial had horrible Euros even though of his less playing times)
Would I want Pogba in my team? Who won't want him. He is a top class midfielder and everything we are craving for, but do i want him for 100 million pounds? Definitely Not.
I do have my reasons.
At first his first choice is Madrid and he will be coming to us only because of the situation, not because his desire. It is all like Di Maria episode again.
Second, Considering his huge transfer fee, it will even enlarge the pressure on his young shoulders. He may live upon the pressure or he may not, Time will only tell but that certainly will make things more difficult for him . It is another Di Maria episode again .
Would Di Maria had been a flop had we bought him for let's say 25 million pounds. I think he would be still with us .
Player's performance not only depends on his talent but also upon lots of factors.

We should better invest the money on world class Centre back as we don't have any leaders at the back . Schneiderlin, Herrera, Carrick, Schweisteinger are good enough to carry our midfield and under Mourinho they are only going to improve. To be honest I would rather spend the money on a World Class left footed right winger and a World Class Central Defender.

Another Right Winger?
Not really
Micky would play RW, it'd be stupid to sign another one.
Central defense is top priority, and midfield comes second.

all this his first choice is Madrid is laughable, didn't DDG want a move to Madrid yet i don't hear anyone say get rid of him now. The way i look at it is does Pogba make our side stronger and can we sign him. Many people may have opinions on who we should sign but only the likes of woody and jose know exactly who is available and who is willing to play for us without champions league. If Pogba is available and willing its a no brainer for me.

I think Pogba would be a significant improvement on what we have. Is he worth €100m+. only time will tell (if he comes) . I don't like seeing United paying that much for players but needs must. Do I think Kante and/ or Kroos would represent better value? Yes.

Personally I would like a right footed right midfielder and a left footed left midfielder to supply the forwards. seems to be a lost art! think Beckham/ Van Nistelrooy and Valencia/ Rooney. Unless you are getting someone of the skill level of Ronaldo, Messi or Neymar, does it really work? Martial has had his moments off the left but would like to see him more central and score more. Don't get me wrong, Valencia should be nowhere near that team covering any position.

With them you are looking for them to provide the goals, I'm happy with wingers providing assists and creating width. The whole pith narrows when you have "wrong" (it's not really wrong but you know what i mean) cutting in. There is just less space everywhere, I want my 9 and 10 to have that space with a bit of time, it's so easy to put 6/ 7 players in that space to defend, wasn't that a bit of the problem with the LVG setup? No space for quick balls, 100 slow passes side ways looking for 1 mistake by a defender?

To summarise, I forgot what your comment was and started rambling. Have a great day :P.

How would a 25 million di maria not be a failure but a 60 million di maria a failure. He was a failure even if he was for free. Everyone knows it wasn't the price tag that got to him, it was the heart that he didn't want to be here.

Moreover, the case with Di Maria was totally different as in Real wanted rid of him (to the highest bidder) while Juventus do not really want to sell Pogba, its rather the player and his agent trying to push for a move.

Will he be a success here if he signs, only time will tell. But one thing going for him is that he is not new in the country or the league. He has been here before. He is a strong lad physically so the league won't harm him much.

All said and done, 100 million is a bit too steep, but hey, its not my money.

Just one last thing I wish to add here is on the point wherein people want to sign 3 players instead of Pogba. Well a Ferrari will be a Ferrari and if you want a Ferrari, you need to spend top dollar. And 3 Minardis will never equal a Ferrari.
