Sanchez: 14 goals in 25 apps
Zlatan: 13 goals in 22 apps
Costa: 11 goals in 17 apps
Aguero: 13 goals in 19 apps

Saw this posted on social media today and it got me thinking, if Zlatan didn't go through that dry patch last month how different would things be right now?

Maybe all we need right now is a bit of luck and things could easily look much better.

I'm looking forward to Sunday, time to put out a good performance against a good side for once.

Everybody was writing him off during that dry patch saying we made a mistake, 7 in 6 games since then suggests he might get around 30 goals this season.

Actually weggy stats also show that zlatan has the worst shots to goal ratio among all you have listed above, so one can say we have to create a lot more chances to score same amount of goals with zlatan in the team than if we had any of the above players. While he seems to be getting back in rhythm, one shouldn't forget him missing sitters in those drawn or lost games is one of the big reasons why we are where we are in the league.

Plus he's older than all the other players in that list and has only just joined the hardest/ best league in the world with new team mate that he's never played with before unlike the others. Just saying.

Goals tell one side of the story. Just imagine if he had actually been half as good as he usually is with the ball, we would be banging them in for fun. He may have scored well, but his overall performance has been way below his typical standards.

I'm looking forward to when he finds form, goal blitz!

His stats look even better when you compare him to traffic bollards, fire hydrants, and lamp posts, which have about the same level of movement as Ibra.

Zlatan has always played like that. Even when he drops back when playing two up top he's always been slow to release the ball. I am perfectly alright with his performance for us and was disappointed to see him start on Thursday. He should have been left back home, together with Pogba because statistically those two have been our most influential players.

Reminds me of Sparky. Struggles with the simple bread an butter finishes but makes the hard look simples.
