Just want to ask Moon what he thought of Marcus Rashford's performance today? Showed a bit of everything, he's not just a goalscorer, defenders are scared of him and he is so clever already and plays like a man with years of experience. 2 games in a row he has come on when we had no goals and we have scored 2, he hasn't scored but has been absolutely fantastic, not sure that's ever been said about Jermaine Defoe.

19 years old.
He will be top class in a couple of years. he will be the best english forward for the next ten years or so,
He plays like someone who is playing for years, he can go out wide in the middle, he has pace can score
The boy will be class.

{Ed007's Note - So basically the next Danny Welbeck... ;-)

I love the sarcasm but actually Rashford showed something we really do need to stop being so slow in our build up play. The first half was never going to be easy against a ten man team but we really played into their hands by passing and moving far too slowly. I think playing Liverpool is going to be a real test. They play at, dare I say it, a real Man Utd fast tempo which I would love to see us do from the kick off. I would love to have Rashford and Martial having a real go against their defenders. Have Miki and Ibra taking it in turns to play as a number ten then number 9. I want to see Pogba boss midfield and destroy Henderson. The one player I really fear of theirs is Coutinho who is real class. If he plays and performs as he can he will be vv dangerous. But if we utilise Rashford and Martial and Miki and really go at them no holding back we should have another three points.

No ed this boy will be better.
Now mr bond give us your honest opinion on him so far and if you think he will be top notch.
I think that dembele u have up there will be another good one ed.

{Ed007's Note - I think Rashford will join the long list of players on here over the years who were going to be Utd greats - and where are they now? They were supposed to have long successful careers for Utd and were potentially world class blah blah blah.... I just don't see him being any more than a squad player for Utd long term. That's not to say he won't turn out to be a player btw, I just don't think he'll get the chance at Utd. You'll spend a load of money in the next few windows and do you think he'll fit into Jose's long term plans for world domination?
Dembele could be the best £500k Celtic have spent in years, I still can't believe we managed to sign him. He's still very rough round the edges and goes missing a lot during matches but when he's in the mood he's the dog's bollocks. He's already my 2nd favourite Frenchman after Cantona. :-D

Coutinho is the real deal in that team! They have a few ballers but Coutinho adds a different shine on to them, dare I say it but he is the Worldie of that team . Can is brilliant for Klopp, Llalana is playing like a Spanish maverick and Mane is just too powerful against any defender who is just about average, and people underestimate how good of a player Wijnaldum (spelling) actually is, Captaining PSV to a league win at 23. But we've already played them and we didn't look like a team ten steps behind them either, I think our team is finally showing signs of gelling with a run of wins now, and hopefully we will be too strong for them now considering we didn't do too bad against them at there ground and playing a lot better since then.

So GDS2 are we now at the point in the season where you are calling out posters to belittle their opinions? Give yourself a pat on the back and get over it.

Moon has his view and you have yours no need to cause mischief.

JMB,

I just asked Moon for his opinion on the performance, nothing to do with you at all, but you can also give your opinion if you like? I'm fairly sure you don't understand sarcasm or banter, shame really.

Interesting you've not really been posting as much recently isn't it, not much to complain about?

We will play Carrick, Ander and Pogba in midfield against Liverpool. So three of Martial, Rashford, Miki, Mata and Lingard will have to make their impact from the bench.

Our weakness is in our full backs (and to be fair our centre backs! ) and Liverpool will be all over that. Make no mistake, it will be a 50:50 game. Just look at the chances we dished up to a bang average 10 man Westham yesterday.

Am I right in thinking Mané will be at AFCON and it'll be Coutinho's first game back from a reasonably long lay off? Henderson, Milner and Sturridge are also doubtful so I think we could have a real stab if we take the game to them.

MAZE -

I don't understand what you are getting at other than it looks like you are after an argument with GDS2?

GDS2 has asked what Moon thinks of Rash and if his opinion of him being another Defoe still stands, all done with a smile and slight banter.

Dont see the need for that response.

I still don't see it bud.

I never said he wasn't a good player, I simply said I think he'll stall quite a bit in his development and end up with a top premier league career (A la Defoe) instead of a world beaters career.

Fair play to him though, he did play rather well when he came on.

Dodgy, I don't agree with that. Liverpool will be a weakened side from when we played last time. They hardly had a sniff at our goal then and it was more of our lack of willingness that we didn't beat them earlier in the season. We have a very settled squad now and Jose has finally found his best 11. Liverpool on the other hand have a fragile back 4 and a manager who is incapable of coaching defending.

Lets not compare yesterday's game with any other. It was a second game in 48 hours and it was more of going through the motions and get the job done. Liverpool at Old Trafford will be a different theatre and we will have our tails up. While Liverpool will be without Mane and Sturridge and most likely Coutinho too. I don't fancy them much to be honest.

I am not afraid of them at all. I remember the first game at anfield. They were at their best we were at our worst before the game a good chunk of their fans believed they would humiliate us. This time we are at home in good form they should be more scared of us than we are of them.

He was really good but for me mata gave us some composure when we had possesion, ball distribution and bite. He is class even though not blessed with pace.

I do wonder if Rooney is really injured or something has happened. I think we will hear on this in the next few weeks.
