I would love to see a classic park the bus win tonight.
In fact a nil all backs to the wall game winning on pens would give me as much pleasure as a 6 nil win tonight.
I'd would like to deprive them of the double and watch a gritty victory tonight and watch Jose leave with his head held high. He is one of us now.

Ken - Park the bus and leave with our heads held high, that's an oxymoron to a United fan surely?

Please don't tell me we have sunk to that level. This isn't David Vs Goliath, I fully expect us to take the game to them and do our best to beat them, not sneak past them. If we do sit back and hope to sneak it, then that's the managers prerogative, but it's a sad sad day for me.

I get it that they are doing well, but we have some very good players. We can get at them if we try and destabilize them, take it to them.

I love attacking play beast as you know. But tonight I'd love to see us win no matter how we achieve it. Chelsea are the best team in the league this year by quite a distance and I like the idea of beating Chelsea in the way Jose used to win for them.
We are far from full strength away against currently a better team. Winning by using negative tactics in a one off game is being smart not sinking low.
Perhaps if fergie had done that against Barcelona in 2 cl finals we would have fared better instead of being hammered and outclassed.

As Francois the famous French fighter pilot said "when I go down, I go down in flames". We are the holders, we have won it the most times, if we're going out, let's go out the United way.

I agree Ken, win at all costs. I understand beasts views totally but with the players available, away, against the leagues best side this season, win in any way possible and back to Wembley again.

Interesting dilemma on the one hand our DNA means we should always seek to play attacking football on the other hand there has to be a time to be pragmatic. If we scratch a win against Chelsea and then go on to win the Cup in the final playing free flowing football who will care how we got to the final.

I'd rather go through than go out in a blaze of glory. If we are behind with 20 minutes to go then attack attack attack and risk losing 3-0 instead of 1-0, but not from the off.

You never know the players might relish this underdog title and want to prove to the world we are in fact Man Utd. I of course understand that if they look like overwhelming us then we have to adapt, but going there with a "make it hard for them to break us", rather than "make it hard for them to contain us" is just wrong in my view. Looking forward to a good game, early goal either way will set it up nicely. Longer it stays 0-0 scrappier it will be imo.
