This might be a bit of envy because city are rumoured to be in for him but i am really surprised we are not in for alexis sanchez for the following reasons:

1.) his playing style, does his defensive duties and is ace on the counter attack, everything mourinho has criticised martial for not doing.

2.) mourinho would have no problem with him playing through the pain barrier unlike smalling and shaw as you can't get sanchez off the pitch unless he's broken a leg.

3.) Fee and wages won't be a problem

4.) We have previous in taking arsenals best player and then going on to win the league.

I would accept only one signing this window if it was alexis.

Totally agree and if city get him then we might as well give up. He's exactly what we're missing.

Wouldn't Arsenal rather sell abroad - yes. I think Bayern maybe his next destination.

So he would solve all our problems? He's a great player but we need a few to come in, I doubt Arsenal will sell him to a rival.

We might as well give up if City sign Sanchez? Remind me again where they finished last season, how they did in the domestic cups and in Europe? Sanchez is very good but he's not Ronaldo or Messi.
