Just seen some recent photographs of Luke Shaw, looks like has lost a few pounds. I hope he can kick-start his career because just prior to his broken leg, I thought he was playing really well and looked a threat going forward.
I think Perisic will surprise a few people this season, if he comes in. He's a text book Mourinho type player, big, strong, eight litre engine and will get the ball in the box. I think he's tailor made for Premiership. Anyway, thanks to all the Eds for all the info and banter.

Totally agree, in respect of the Perisic deal, if he is what the Boss needs, then let's see how it goes? We all have to take a step back at the moment, We all need to trust what is being built!

Perisic seems to me like a slightly less talented but more resilient player than Bale.

When people talk about a 'united player' I think Perisic fits the mould that people talk about, a hard working tricky winger with pace, just because he's not a big name people won't be happy but looking at his attributes he fulfils a lot of things we currently don't have, especially on that left side.
