Should we wait until summer 2020 and sign hudson odoi on a free? The lad clearly has ability and is highly regarded within the england set up.

For some reason or another chelsea don't want to utilise him this season and he doesn't want to sign a new contract until he receives guarantees over game time.

Or look at it the other way and he isn't prepared to fight for his place? No player should be guaranteed playing time they should earn it. Also gutted for Cardiff today they were well and truly cheated out of 3 points that ref and the linesmen should not be allowed to officiate anymore games this season.

Dreadful decisions, not a fan of Warnock but I feel fo him today. As for CHO, I don’t know what Sarri is playing at' the kid has huge talent but can’t get a look in, very very odd.

{Ed002's Note - He has appeared in a large number of games, he only turned 18 in November and is still at school and learning the game.}

Fair enough Ed, and he’s not a Rooney or Giggs but he doesn’t get a lot of game time. I realise it’s a fine line but I think Sarri is too careful with him.

{Ed002's Note - He has appeared in plenty of games, has played two games for England and is critically still learning the game - he will be getting more and more time. You really need to take this all to the Chelsea page as it is nothing to do with Manchester United.}

Do people feel the situation with Hudson-Odoi is similar to that of Pogba with us all those years ago?

A young lad who is clearly talented, who feels he should be playing more and if he can't get it he will sign for a top European club.

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing like the Pogba situation - that involved specific people giving advice.}

Yh whether or not he is getting enough game time is up for debate. But from a united point of view if he is available then we should be one of the clubs looking to sign.

Especially considering how hard the deals will be to do for other forward players (i. e. Sancho), this could be smart business for any club that gets him.

{Ed002's Note - He is not available and Manchester United has no declared interest. Match of the Day fever.}

He would have to get game time in the premier league to get on match of the day.

{Ed002's Note - He does - he has played in numerous games. You seem to have little grasp about him at all.}

119 minutes in 6 sub appearances. I personally don't think that is enough. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

{Ed002's Note - Plus Europa and other cups - how is the year older Tabitha Chong coming along?}

Hudson-Odoi has’nt started a premier league game for Chelsea but he has come on for a grand mind blowing total of 119 mins.

I think there is a legitimate argument that hudson-odoi is a better talent than tahith chong and warrant more fast tracking into the first team.

But if tahith chong was to make the decision that he wanted to leave in order to get more game time then i would completely understand his thought process. Same goes for angel gomes or mason greenwood.

Hudson-odoi probably sees the progress sancho has made since leaving city for dortmund and would like to follow a similar development path.

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid you simply don't understand about young players at all.}

Fair enough ed002, as i said we will have to agree to disagree on this one.

Never heard of Tabitha but Tahith came on in a champions league 2nd round game away at PSG, can’t remember what happened there though.

He made a very sloppy pass, giving away possession in a dangerous area, GDS 😉.

You need to slowly integrate young players into first team football.
The level of expectation can overwhelm young players, if you don't manage correctly.

This is CHO first season playing in the PL and EL.

I certainly wouldn't splash tempeh cash to sign him.

It wasnt long ago on here, that a lot of the posters wanted Rashford to be sold.

If you wait until his contract expires his heart will flutter and he will just skip in to your arms will he?

Mad Hatter,

Slightly changing the truth there, I think only one poster wanted Rashford sold.

CHO has had a few appearances and done well but before chucking loads of money at him just remember Adnan J for us, he looked great to start with as well.

The start of this thread, should we wait till 2020 to sign Hudson, what gives us the right to think we can just sign a player from another club when and where we want, ridiculous statement. I don't think we would be too happy if another club in England said will we wait another season before we sign, greenwood or chong.

i remember a quote i think it was from fergie i might be wrong but it was if there good enough there young enough.

a question for the eds or other posters, i keep reading about we have to sell to buy because of our wages and that AS is the reason why we are maxed out,

does the wage budget increase each year or is this dependent on how much money the club brings in.

and getting rid of AS would free his wages up but would it really solve the problem.

thanks.

{Ed002's Note - It increases each year but is capped at how much it can grow buy.}

Given that CHO is best played on the left would Utd be selling Martial in order to find space for him?
