I don't think it makes a huge difference who we play at the start of the season. We are going to be seeing several players leaving and likely several joining. Whatever the numbers the team needs to have a defined pattern of play and the players need to bed in. For this reason to expect us to get off to a flying start especially against settles teams like Chelsea and Wolves will be is unrealistic.

Wolves could be a tougher test than Chelsea. They are a fantastic unit.
Whereas Chelsea lost their best player and very soon will loose their manager as well.

Settled team like Chelsea? Are you serious?

You're aware they might not even have the same manager as now on the first day of the season and have lost their best player?

Calling us (Chelsea) a settled team is a joke :p

Eden's gone, and Sarri will be too. Giroud is our starting striker (I actually like the guy, but let's be real here lol), Ruben and Callum are out injured, and our best CB (Rüdiger) is too.
On top of that we can't buy this summer. We're there for the taking, certainly in the early part of the season with those 3 starters missing through injury and Pulisic being new to the PL.
