That’s the romantic fairytale but a realistic one? Can’t see it ever happening but if there was a way for the club to adopt the 50+1 rule they have in the bundesliga, that would be so great for the club.

Not the biggest fan of the Glazers but be careful what you wish for. Sometimes best to deal with the devil you know. They have invested significantly in the club post Fergie and the problem lies with those operating the club on a daily basis and how that expenditure and club direction is being managed at the operation level.

Ports the 50+1 rule would never be adopted in England because the league is too greedy and it would cause too many headaches for clubs as they are currently owened. Even then the 50+1 rule has flaws such as the rapid rise of RB Leipzig.

I really don’t understand people complaining about a business owner taking money out of their business 🤔

The Glazers don’t love the club like us fans do.
They may not be the most ethical of business men.

But regardless of where the money has come from, the club has invested very heavily post-Fergie and apart from Mourinho’s centre back, managers have been backed with countless millions.

I agree with Maze here, it’s better the devil you know.

We could end up with the Saudis.

Our problem it seems, is decision making.

The wages we give old and/ or average players are baffling, even the casual fan can see that.
The transfer feeds we pay are at a premium.

It’s not a case of money not being spent, it’s the idiots who spend it.
