Hey, been reading this site almost daily for 5 years but never thought to sign up. However I think it's time for an unpopular opinion.

I would be quite happy for the season to start tomorrow, with the signings we have. I would be happy to see the club challenge for top 4, miss out if need be, provided we start to build a squad and give some experience to the youngsters.

I'd be quite excited to see a starting 11 of the following,

De Gea
Shaw, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Wan Bissaka
McTominay
Pogba, Chong
James, Rashford and Greenwood

Yea we wouldn't challenge too 2 next year, maybe not even the year after, but I'd be quite excited to see what that team would be capable of.

Gomes instead of Chong for me. But agree with ken, too risky. Some fantastic talented youngsters there though.

I would add 1 midfielder - Bruno or Longstaff to provide more depth and quality to the squad.
Apart from that, the squad looks very exciting.

Love it Grovsy. I’d like. CB and a CM but I would promote Garner, Greenwood, Gomes, Chong and use them, particularly F we can move on Sanchez, Pogba and Lukaku. Rashford got his chance by accident, McT got his chance because Jose wanted t make a point and they’ve both done great. I’d happily see us take some risks with the youngsters who are hungry and keen to impress.

Completely agree mate. Find that identity we lost and make sure the 11 on the field fight for the badge. I would have Fred/ Longstaff next to Pogba as I don’t think Gomes and garner have 50 games a season between them yet.

We definitely need another centre half.


And the central mid needs upgrading


If pogba stays he is pur only creative player in the middle you can add mata but he plays wide more.


If we can get Maguire bruno and savic I think most would be happy going into the season with the top 4 makeable.
