I can't understand the fans who say we shouldn't sign both Fernandes and Dybala.

From what I've gathered online, and I don't mean clips on YouTube. Fernandes plays predominantly to the left, in between the lines. His position to me seems mostly like Pogba's preferred position. Dybala plays further forward as a 10 or on the Right.
I'm not claiming to be an expert, this is just what I've tried to find online.

Regardless, Dybala and Fernandes are massively gifted players and a big upgrade on the midfielders we've recently lost in Herrera and Fellaini. If we are aiming to get back to the top, these are the type of players to get us there. City have Gundogan, Silva, Bernardo Silva, Rodri, Foden, De Bruyne, Mahrez, and Fernandinho to choose from. We finished 6th last season and signing these 2 players will be a good start for trying to catch up the top teams.

Regardless where they start both play in similar areas, I'm not saying they can't play in the same team but I'm not sure the club will spend the cash the get both players with the other players we have at the club.

Fernandes and Dybala play different positions to Herrera and Fellaini. Fernandes is an AM and Dybala is a CF played out of position since Ronaldo arrived.

SMS and Longstaff are much closer position-wise to the players that have moved on.

Bruno Fernandes prefer to play from the right in between the lines.

Wazza, sorry I wasn’t comparing Dybala to them. I’m trying to highlight the upgrade these 2 would be to our team. Why couldn’t Dybala play in the front 3 with Rashford and Martial?
Kenedyandy, even better then. Stick him in midfield with Pogba to the left and Fred/ Mctominay centrally.

Opposition teams will have plenty more to think about with these 2 in our team than when we line up with Mata or Lingard in the AM or RF position.
We need quality, these 2 would add that to our team.
