So now we turn our attention to Sunday and I am more than a little intrigued to see who our captain will be. Will it stay with the the old guard and be given to Matic/ Young/ Mata should any of them play (lets hope not), will it go to De Gea/ Lindelof as one of the defensice units guaranteed starters or will it go to Pogba as part of the charm offensive to get the best out of him and commit to us for the season.
Personally I would be happy with either of De Gea or Pogba.

Well Young is club captain, so if he plays he will be captain.

DDG has worn it during pre-season when Young wasn't on the pitch.

So it's likely to be him. Of course if Ole is trying to placate Pogba over not getting his move he might make him captain to give him a "new challenge".

If he carries on in the same vein Mort, very much so. I prefer the captain to be the driving force in the middle of the park.
