Pocchetino has to go. Losing to Newcastle at home is completely unacceptable. Their players are inadequate. Kane, Son, Erickson, Lucas etc - there's no way any of them would get into a top team. (Just substitute United's manager and players and it sums up many of the comments on this site)

Champions League finalists losing at home to relegation fodder, it kind of brings some perspective doesn’t it? Probably not to some of the strident negheads on here.

I think all of that would be valid if spurs only one 3 of their last 15. And had finished 6th 4 of the last 6 years.
The judgment people are making shawthing is not based on 1 game but on a sustained period.

Yet he won the champions league last year.

Pocchetino and Ole has no comparison and it is embarassing comparing the two.

It doesn’t and you know it doesn’t.

Spurs are a team with major wage and transfer restrictions that have finished in the top four for the last four consecutive seasons under Poch, and got the cl final last season.

It’s as if any criticism of United, or analysis of why we have done so poorly under Ole is immediately met by this type of ham fisted reductionism.

Ken. Remind me of all the trophies Spurs have won in the last 6 years.

It's 11 years since they won the League Cup. Despite all the upheaval at least we managed an FA and a Europa Cup.

How long is this sustained period ken?

Danny, maybe the on-site is true, maybe Ole isn’t getting a chance because of 6 years of failure and the dire end to last season. How about we give him 10 games?

Ajh, iam not for 1 moment suggesting ole should be fired. I have never suggested anything like that not have i had anything negative to say.
A sustained period of 3 wins in 15 games is poor for and its concerning.
I believe he has made a very bad call or supported a bad call who knows, in keeping pogba.
We have young players and 3 very promising good signings.
Rome was not built in a day everybody across that I'm sure.
City and pool are going from strength to strength. They will have their blibs we hope. We could be in the mix with the rest for top 4. Its a tough league.
After 3 games i just see more of what i saw at the end of last season losing and drawing games we should have won. Ddg making errors, missing chances and hopeless set piece play.
Pogba blowing hot and cold etc etc.
Ole has got to be more ruthless.

I agree shaw that sours and Poch have won nothing and they both need to to be remembered as a great side. I don't think spurs are a great side but they have never won the epl and he has been up there as close as they ever have been.
They have never been in a ucl final before. He has them knocking on the door. Playing nice football on a shoestring budget.
I think they will be fighting for beteeen 3rd and 6th like ourselves this season.

Ken, we cannot bring the last season into this scenario.
The team last year towards the end simply lacked effort and fitness. They were battered and had no confidence in the last 7-10 games.
