Have heard a lot about him, but last night was the first time I have seen Brandon Williams play. To me, he looks like a slimmer, faster version of Shaw. Looks very attacking. Anyone know how good a defender he is?

if you watch the u23,s he's a consistant performer plays on the left but is right footed. he gets forward a lot and creates a lot of chances for the forwards, he's strong in the tackle just watch footage of last years game against liverpool away a straight red after sending one of there players about 2ft in the air. he looked very calm on the ball last night when he came on but perraira was getting in his way as he likes to get to the byline and put crosses in.

Cheers Jo, think he put in a couple of crosses with his left peg too. Agreed about Pereira getting in the way; on a side note, really unsure what Pereira brings to the team. When he was younger really thought he would our number 10 but now 🤷🏻‍♂️.

i personally wouldn't start either perraira or lingard there not good enough and seem to have gone backwards instead of pushing on.
