In all seriousness I can't defend that today it simply wasn't good enough sometimes we play the game like we've got all the time in the world. No tempo with too many pointless backwards and sideways passes. The game looks under control but then we make stupid individual mistakes and put ourselves under pressure. We saw exactly the same under LVG and Mourinho, it's a mentality problem in my opinion a lot of players think they can have a day off against the smaller Clubs and don't work hard enough. They can't deal with these games mentally or cope with the fact that everybody still wants to beat Utd and raises their games. They actually need to work harder in these games not have a day off. Fun party hey 🤣.

I think it’s the quality of the squad DLIB, it’s so far away from the days when literally everyone feared you and the little clubs and some of the big ones would be happy to escape with a point.

Now everyone thinks they can help themselves to all 3.

Great Post DLIB, that is exactly the problem. We are like Roy jones/ Mike tyson when they were past it, still a big name that people raise their game against, but a force in name only.
