Great win last night.
So what do we expect to see v city at the weekend.
On the plus side there is no better time to play them.
Their record over last 6 games is as bad as ours.
We are going in high in confidence.
Its a great opportunity to gain some momentum.
Is last night another false dawn?
Can ole get them playing at that level and intensity consistently?
We need back to back perfomances and back to back results.
Once again opportunity knocks for ole,
I hope we put it up to them. They are still devastating on their day but they are fragile just now so we can win.

We do play better in the big games but form goes out the window in derbies.

Hi Ken

My guess will be a similar formation to Liverpool home. City like to work the fullbacks, manoeuvre them out of position before slotting a straighter pass than usual putting strikers in on the keeper. So discipline in full back areas is important so five at the back. City play their full backs high, however drop someone like Rodri back in front of the back two. Our pacy forwards are key and breaking down the channels will be dangerous for City. We may split James and Rashford again. We need a player in midfield to follow DeBruyne
Derby games are difficult to predict, see how we feel on the day.

Yeah, as Red Man said, anything can happen in a derby.

City's midfield of De Bruybe, Rodri, Bernardo and David Silva is at a different level when compared to ours. So they will clearly dominate possession.

On the other hand, our front 3 can cause a lot of problem for City's fragile back line.
Since City don't have lot of tall players, we must use Maguire, McT and Lindelof to our advantage in set-pieces.
