I've just watched the match back again and I honestly can't think of a player who compares to Wan Bissaka, past or present. I'm not saying he's the best ever RB but he's so unique in his tackling ability. What a great signing he has been.
Brilliant week for the club, let's hope they push on and have a good 2nd half of the season.

I thought he was outstanding. Players who defend as if their lives depended on it are a rare commodity. We have needed midfielders and defenders to do that for years.
The same as we need forwards to press add if their lives depend on it and make runs like their life depends on it.
Great coaches get that from their teams 95 games out of 100. Great players do it 95 times out of 100.
Any team that loses doing that are
Ok in my book.
Ole has a set of players that look like they could possibly be turning a corner. A big test for him now is how he adds depth and quality to the thin squad he has without losing the ethos he is trying to create.
We really need to gain some momentum it changes everything.

It's refreshing to see a full back that's fantastic at defending in the modern game.

People complain about him going forward, but personally I think he enables us to attack much more because we don’t need the winger tracking back much to help him out. In saying that James does put a shift in defensively too.

Great response to the OP Ken! I could not argue any of that statement. Ole and the players have excelled in the last 2 weeks that we now hope the form continues for the rest of the season. The last 2 games have been thoroughly entertaining and have a feel good factor for the players and the folks on this site. I won't touch wood for we should be turning a Corner and after 5 years? We can slowly bring back the fear factor.

I don't think there's anywhere to hide now for this team. We've seen high quality performances from them this season and we've seen performances that belong in League 2.

Every team has their off days and bad patches but there can't be such a huge gap in performances week to week.

If we can harness those performances and not crumble against the weaker teams then we'll be alight going forward under Ole.
