Is it true Ed's that Lingard is available for transfer and is being offered to clubs?

Thanks
Damon.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure if he is available but he has made it clear that he wants out and has been offered to at least one side.}

Wow he wants out? I'm surprised by this ed002. Do you know the reason (s) why?

{Ed002's Note - I imagine he realises it is an amateur set up and he has no viable future - he wants a step up.}

Hahaha step up, he’s got no goals and assists in 12 months, off you go Jesse.

The latest bluffers on the block, on your bike Jesse, you will be lucky if any team above championship level comes in 4 u.

Hallelujah!

Messi Lingard outbound on a loan to buy!

I can imagine Italy appealing to him.

Utter rubbish of a player these days.

Lingard hasn’t played particularly well in the last 12 months but is that him, the team around him or the tactics he is playing in, prior to that he won the FA cup with a great volley, played for England in a World Cup semi. However, when Ed says it as it is, that he wants out of an amateur set up, for me coaching staff upwards now it’s off you go. Arrogance and denial of the mess we are in, hyped into believing OGS is the messiah. What a mess.

Do I think Lingard is great, no, probably not, but waving him out the door is a bit crass.

Hardly surprising, out of our current squad he is the player closest to Pogba who himself wants to leave.

I think he might surprise a few if he leaves. Never going to be world class, but a very good player in the right set up.

Both LvG and Mourinho held Lingard in high regard and as an important part of the their squad. They might not have ultimately been successfully with the club but neither are stupid and know more about football than all of us combined.

Can you tell us the club he has been offered to ed002 please?

{Ed002's Note - Milan.}

In all fairness to him, he’s probably looking at the like of Smalling and Lukaku who are obviously out in Italy enjoying their football and fancies it himself. You can’t blame the guy, 0 goals and assists or not.
I’m not his biggest fan but as Shappy says, he’ll probably do alright given a chance in a team that plays decent football.

Rashford will be next if we carry on with this current rubbish show that is Solskjaer, McKenna, Carrick and Phelan.

I agree shappy. Tidy player having a bad time. Shame on GDS' comment 'off you go'.

GDS, I think ed is referring to a step up in set up not in the stature of the club, there are very few that can beat us there. But there's obviously a lot that has gone on and it seems many of the players are fed up. Most definitely an amateur set up at the moment. Also the way some fans treat him with comments like yours, don't blame him really.

I like Jesse a lot, always have. He's had a bad year but I think he is a good player, particularly in the right set up.

Jesse welcome in the squad as far as I'm concerned.
Shocked at gds. Not his usual attitude tbh.

It’s a bit of a kick in the teeth for Ole that Lingard wants out. Didn’t Ole mention him as being one of the players that represent the clubs true character?

The problems are getting deeper as consequence to them not sorting things out last summer. Pogba will influence the squad until he’s out. We need better characters in the squad at a much faster rate than 3 players a season.

Watching the match tonight, I do question what our coaches are telling Lingard. He seems content at passing the ball back to our defence each time he gets the ball. Is no one telling him to have some courage and looking for a forward pass?

I'm shocked at the faux outrage at GDS's comment.

{Ed047's Note - I’m shocked that your shocked Nou 😂

Less of your faux outrage, Ed047!

{Ed047's Note - 🤣🤣ok ok!

i am not shocked he's dead right.

Outrage? Nothing like a bit of hyberbole Stephen. Has your wee lad an opinion on it?

18.) 07 Jan 2020
07 Jan 2020 23:00:23
I just have to laugh, Kenneth. All the snide, bitchy comments on the live chat about posters who weren't on it, every man and his dog telling us on here for ages how rubbish a player Jesse is, and someone who has constantly belittled Ole since day one accusing someone else of being crass. And yet they're shocked at a comment from GDS. By the way, I think saying you're 'shocked' is a bit hyperbolic as well.

I have a friend who is in a senior position at Milan. I don't know whether to warn him about Lingard or encourage him that they should buy him.

20.) 07 Jan 2020
07 Jan 2020 23:21:11
Not shocked nou but just a shame. Always liked Jesse and think he's always been a good player for us. Just not having a great time of it.

21.) 07 Jan 2020
07 Jan 2020 23:42:52
I appreciate you like him angelred but the man has averaged 4 goals and 2 assists in the last 5 seasons. If you can’t see that’s part of the reason we are crap then there is no hope!

22.) 07 Jan 2020
07 Jan 2020 23:48:29
I've never had an issue with him, Angel. Thought his social media stuff was a bit silly, but that's probably just my age.

Think he's in that group of players that you had high hopes for, hoped would really kick on, but never really has.

I still think he'd be a good squad player, but I wouldn't be busting a gut to keep anyone who wants out, especially when they haven't got the performances in the bank as collateral.

23.) 07 Jan 2020
07 Jan 2020 23:56:25
I think the worrying question is why these guys want out? Particularly a young homegrown lad like Lingard?

24.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 00:08:33
Young? Is that not the running joke on here about Jesse? :)

25.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 00:16:53
he wants out because in a bad side he is now being found out for how bad he is.

26.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 00:12:24
Simply not had the end product required. He probably needs a new start to kick on a bit. Maybe it will work for him, but Ole has given him more rope than some might have.

If you play creative midfield and your best attribute (lately) is running out of the way to leave space for other more productive players then there is a problem.

Not sure if some of his home life has been affecting him. He has always come across as a Trier, I'm not bothered about what he does on Instagram as long as he performs on the pitch.

27.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 04:23:52
A tidy player, a very good player in right setup, did i just travel to an alternate universe or something?

We are talking about jesse lingard, a guy who hasn't scored or assisted as a no 10 for an entire year, do people understand how bad you have to be to not score or assist for an entire year. Bernardo silva has more goals at OT in his last 2 games here than lingard has in last 2 seasons.

He is a championship player at best, he wants to leave, good riddance. Burning the 100k we give him a week would be more productive than giving it to him. That's how awful he is.

This whole nonsense about a good setup, there isn't one, he got lucky for a few months under jose. He is a headless chicken who runs around a lot, but outside of that he is nothing, he has a first touch that makes lukaku's look great, his passing makes smalling look like iniesta, someone compared him to park, utter bs, he is a coward, watch how he plays, see how many times he actually makes a tackle when the player's infront of him or how many times gets into a 50-50 ball winning situation. In attack his so called running is a myth, he 9/ 10 hides in attack getting in between 2-3 opposition player making sure that getting him involved in attack is nearly impossible. He is the biggest fraud in football and giving him that contract is one of woodward's biggest which would take some doing given Woodward's decision making.

28.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 06:27:11
Lingard is 27, he should be one of the players taking a lead role in fixing this mess but he disappears. It smacks of a player not prepared to put the hard yards in and looking for a way out, and if he has been getting some stick from Ole then maybe he thinks he’s better than he is.

Lingard has had constant stock on here so the reaction tonGDS’s post is laughable. If anyone wants to leave then my vie is also off you go.

29.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 08:21:27
Lingard will be one season in Milan then Bournemouth on a loan to buy, finished at 31.

At Kieran Richardson could play a few positions.

30.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 08:22:13
So it's all the players fault? I see now AJH, forgive me. I thought it might have something to do with the way the club has been acting over the last few years and that some of the players like Jesse are fed up.

But no, it's all the players fault and they should fight this cause no matter what way the club and team is being ran.

31.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 08:35:49
Lol, yes nou :) but seriously, there does seem to be a quite a few that want out now.

Or should they bang their chests, kiss the badge and no matter what stay, fight and fix this mess haha. It sounds good from a fans perspective but in reality doesn't work like that.

Something seems really wrong at the club at the minute.

32.) 08 Jan 2020
08 Jan 2020 23:02:49
angel you get the right to be fed up with how club is run only if you aren't one of the biggest beneficiaries of the club's ineptitude. Lingard wouldn't last more than a season in the utd first team had he played under fergie let alone get a bumper contract. There is no club on this planet who is going to offer the money we pay him currently, however good rioala is.
