As a player he does fit the mould, unfortunately his attitude has been questioned at many times during his career. Also the way he forced his way out of West Ham wasn't good.

He might be a disruptive influence in the dressing room, and I don't think the club needs that.

I would for 6-12 months. can't get out of China though due to travel restrictions cos of virus. Im reading in tabloids Chinese league has shut down because of it so maybe the football authorities will find a way to let them join European clubs but would mean extending the window . seems a logistical-administration non starter to me. probably tabloid tosh.

And he might have to sit in quarantine for a month anyway at Heathrow!
