As good as it is to discuss the team.
We are not playing at the moment nor is anyone else. Return to training is earliest mid-May. No idea when the season will restart if at all. I suppose its not important if you look at the main purpose of keeping us safe and out of hospital.

{Ed002's Note - There are no dates for returning to training.}

It is what it is. Just means we will truly appreciate it when football returns.

Just a quick question regards to the return of football. I have heard a lot of speculation that the season maybe concluded by playing out in empty stadiums.

The part I fine hard to believe is that the football authorities, plus ministers (who I believe have be consulting with each other), would even consider allowing footballers to play a contact sport when the rest of the population must still social distance from each other?

I hope the speculation is wide of the mark or are the football
authorities really that arrogant, with a complete disregard for the health of the public, in the pursuit of money?

{Ed002's Note - Right now there is no date for a return and only the UEFA "proposal" for a must be done by date of July 31. If you try the Liverpool page I have provided a great deal of information.}

I've read pretty much everything that you've put on the Liverpool page and can't understand why they continue to argue with your information, from a purely selfish viewpoint. I have a question, which I understand may be impossible to answer. What happens if the authorities want to restart but clubs can't find insurance (or won't pay the premium quoted)? I can't imagine many insurance companies wanting to take a risk on potentially £100m + payouts if a top player was to contract the virus and it ended their career for whatever reason. I realise this may be a worst case scenario but surely the decision should be based on the possible outcomes, of which this is one. Just because these guys are young, super fit athletes won't make them immune.

{Ed002's Note - The players are already insured and I don't know if they would be covered for this situation. However, the issue of liability has been raised but not yet addressed with the Premier League and certainly not resolved. It may well be discussed on Friday as it remains on the table.}

Thanks Ed02, I have now read most of the Liverpool pages, I now feel I better understand just how complex and difficult the situation is. Stay safe.

{Ed002's Note - And you.}
