Ed001 - a request for you if you have the time. Could you do a "what to look for" series on how to evaluate a manager, and different positions across the pitch? The reason i ask is that most fans including myself have a limited understanding of the overall game and rely on possibly meaningless stats and you tube videos to form opinion of players. Also, while watching the game we are focussed on the ball and play and tend to support players based on which direction the wind is blowing. some pointers and examples on what to look for and how to evaluate players would be really handy. Thanks!

Great idea Ryan and brilliant name Sepp! More work for Ed001, let us know if we can assist in any way.

{Ed001's Note - I will have to find a way to involve others more, I am just not sure how to do so. I could really do with people to help with the research, as that is what takes up most of my time. Most of it is wasted time trying to find relevant information when 99% of articles are just a site copying and pasting from wiki. Even if I could just have people weed out all the rehash info it would save me a lot of time.}

I don't mind rehashing info when I can (still working from the office, no lockdown here) . I am sure others will be enthusiastic as well especially with time on their hands during this uncertain era.

{Ed001's Note - how about we start with an obvious one, Diego Maradona and see how that works out. Not sure what the best way to do this is, I usually take short notes but that works because it jogs my memory of what I have read. So we would need to figure out how to get the info over to me.}
