What are people’s thoughts on Hannibal Mejbri?

I just seen some videos of him and he looks very good. I know YT can make anyone look good but 15 mins of quality is impressive in a year.

He plays like Beckham but a bit quicker.

Looks an absolute prospect *****

I could see him as the long term Pogba replacement.

I posted quite a while back on Mejbri, looked a player in what I saw of him. Cost about £9m from Monaco from memory but what I saw was a bit and I stress a bit reminiscent of Ronaldinho style of player. Doesn’t mean he would attain that level but should be given a chance and perhaps even this season if for example we can’t get top 4 in the last couple of games or in the cup.

Club paid a tone of money he better be good. He looks good if any of the videos of him is anything to go by, hopefully he makes the first team next season.

Maybe he'll eat a few chunks off Shaw too.

Posted back at the beginning of the season about August/ September about him. Has that invention about him, one of those that can go either way but has real talent. When I saw him I was struck by the fact he didn’t play by numbers, there was a freestyle about him . He is getting to the age where we need to find out if he can translate it to first team games. The greats can and you see how they show its natural, much of it mental when they arrive on the pitch.

I agree with Red Man, there are shades of Ronaldinho about him. At times he toys with the opposition, and he plays well of the cuff.

He looks like he will fill out reasonably well too, not a huge guy, but athletic. He could be a potentially special player. But there's a long way to go before that. If he keeps his head down, stays grounded and works hard he will have a great chance of becoming a top top player.
