I know ed02 has said Pogba wants to leave, but I think he can have his head turned to sign a new contract

If not take the extension and use him for 2 years then let him go on a free.

The problem for pogba and his agent is not with Ole so I feel he will still give ole 100%.

Paul Pogba does not want to play for Manchester United. Can you not see the difference a player with the right attitude has made in Bruno. Get rid of him and sign a player that actually wants to play for the club.

Pogba can not be relied on week in week out. The club should get whatever cash we can or look to swapping him for a player that fits into the managers ethos.

That's a good point jred so if he does leave we need to sell him not let him walk on a free so we can help fund a new signing.

I'm confident by the end of this season people will be keen to see him sign a new contract. The team looks infinitely better with pogba and bruno in it. Add sancho to that and I think we will be top 3-4 and challenging.

The situation with Pogba is no longer about selling him for what he's "worth", with a year left on his contact, the C.V. situation and the fact he has pushed to leave for nearly three years means the club have no chance of getting his market value.

In many ways the situation is much simpler, how much is Pogba worth for one year of service? How much would you pay for Pogba if you it was only a one year deal and he would leave for free at the end of it?

If a club offers us 40m. The decision the club needs to ask is simple. What has more value to the club. One year of football from Pogba or 40m? Because in a year's time the guy walks for nothing.

If you would gladly pay 40m to have Pogba at our club for one year then leave for free then the club shouldn't accept a 40m bid.

I see many people being unrealistic with what Pogba is worth. 150m? Seriously? Has he improved since the day he signed? If not then 89m is the maximum he could be worth, as he is no longer a young player with potential. Then consider the fact he has only one year left on his deal and will happy walk away for free next summer. Then I think 40m would be a decent offer.

Shappy don't forget he is on a big wage and would be entitled to a % of his remaining contract and transfer fee.

True jred, and that would need to be taken into consideration. The point still stands, there the fee we should expect to receive is much lower than most people are touting around.

I always think we should flip a situation when trying to work out what is a fair price.

Imagine Pogba is playing for Real Madrid or Juventus, he is unhappy and has tried to leave over the last two summers. He has been out injured for most of the season, has one year left on his contact and you would be expected to at least match if not increase his already large wages. How much would you expect the club to pay for him?

The funny thing is many of the people who feel we should receive a fee of 120-150m are often the same people who feel we had our pants pulled down when paying 89m for him.

I think anything north of around 40m is about right, in the current market a valuation of 60m+ would almost certainly need to include a player in exchange as no one is going to spend that much this summer.
