VaR at its best again.
I think that's a poor decision, and 4 minutes to make it .

Var is a joke.

That has to be the worst VAR decision I've seen. I'm a big advocate of VAR, the technology isn't at fault here, it's the people using it. How a player lying on the floor is blocking the keepers view is beyond me.

{Ed002's Note - The question is not that but did the ball come off him.}

Did it come of him?
I thought var was there to overturn clear and obvious mistakes . can't be that clear when it takes 4 minutes of slow motion replays.
Chflsea poor at the back today.

Didn’t the ball hit him? As soon as it does he’s offside, I thought it was the right call.

I think there should be a time limit imposed on the VAR team. If you can't tell within 2 minutes then it is neither clear or obvious.

Just seen it again and now I’ve no idea!

I don't think it hit him the player chipped it over him from what I saw so as it was chipped over the player he can't be in the line of sight also he doesn't move so he isn't interfering with play. strange decision but didn't matter great result for us looking at other teams fixtures if we do our job we have a great chance now.

Agree with that shappy.

You’re getting mixed up Shappy, VAR is used for offsides on matters of fact, not clear and obvious errors, they are on other things. A player is either onside or offside, it doesn’t matter how bad the decision is, the VAR makes the final decision.
