People see what they want to see. Shaw is overweight and has done nothing apparently. You must be watching different games to me. I’m not saying he has set the world on fire but he has been solid and has been up and down the pitch, contributing throughout,

People have made their minds up, it’s ok to change them. I thought Lindelof was the answer, now I don’t think he has the physicality for the league, I thought Martial was a waste of space but he’s gradually changing my mind.

Shaw was overweight but he looks pretty fit to me, but you see what you see.

I’m not a big fan of Shaw’s AJH but I agree with you he looks in much better shape, and his performances are evidence for that. What I’ve liked is that he’s starting to get into the other teams box with more regularity too, and that’s down to one thing improved effort and fitness levels imo.

He's been here for six years, yet you still think he should be given another opportunity lol. Funny how teams don't tend to attack our right side with AWB in that position. Just look at the difference between Shaw and the likes of Robertson, Alba, Alaba etc.

I think Shaw has done better in the second half of the season. Kept fit, energy levels look good and has reduced his positioning errors. He’s not world class, but he’s a good player.

Scholes people are just saying he’s playing well at the moment. Don’t be so sensitive.

Anyway it's not all doom and gloom.
Greenwood is a breath of fresh air and Bruno is top class. Even pogba is getting in to it. And the player that's done very well for me is matic. Martial is doing what he is supposed to as well.

Scholes the last 2 games especially teams have attacked the space behind awb, far more than shaw .
I'm a big fan of awb, but his starting position has been so high ( sure set by ole ) teams have looked at the space behind .
So its strange you say teams aren't attacking down our right because they clearly are .
And will continue to while we play on the front foot with fullbacks in such a high starting position . Which I think will change a bit depending on quality of opossition.

Leahy greenwood is fantastic. Cleanest striker of a ball that I’ve seen for us in a long time.

Excellent point Jred we've definitely been playing higher up the pitch which has obviously made us more exposed on occasions.

I agree this will change against the better teams where I still expect us to play predominantly on the counter attack!
However how great is it that we now seen able to dominate and score goals against deep lying defences but can also be equally devastating on the counter where we can play with more defensive shape and solidarity but still pose a major threat going forward.

I think the emergence of Brandon Williams is bringing the best out of Shaw.
He looks much fitter and now often makes runs into the opposition box.
He needs to improve his crossing to take his game to next level.
