A sad quirk of the fixtures meaning that Chelsea have 6 days to prepare for the semi final we have 3. Similarly Leicester have a week to prepare for possibly our most important league fixture again we have 3. So for the games either side of the semi final which way does ole jump, start with the strongest team available and hope that the game is won after an hour so that subs can then be made or start with a weaker team hoping they can get the job done leaving the likes of Bruno on the bench in the hope that the game can be won without him. Personally I would say win the game first and then rest who you can for as long as you can .

{Ed002's Note - You sound like a Liverpool fan - it is indeed a conspiracy.}

Luck of the draw, we have been fortunate with the spacing of our games up to this point so we can’t complain, others have already played Thursday-Sunday, Monday-Thursday now it’s our turn. Let’s see how we cope🤷‍♂️.

Bloody sods the FA, how dare they conspire and make footballers on more a week than I get in 5 years play 3 games in 8 days and do some training. Next thing you tell me is they will have to cancel their Gym Memberships and bring their own lunch to work? Maybe also pay £10 a day parking?

Ole will have worked out a plam to cope with the fixture pile up. I expect that he will play a modified version of his cup team against Chelski with Romero, Dalot, Bailly, Mctominay, Fred, James and Ighalo getting starts. The league is more inportant than the Cup as CL qualification is vital in order to attract sponsorship and the right quality of player when the Transfer Window opens.
