Wanted to see what everyone thought of the Mata for Greenwood substitution last night? Ole gets some fair and unfair criticism at times. I thought bringing Mata on at the time he did was the right call, give Mata space and time and he is still a wizard. With them tiring he was able to get on the ball and definitely contributed when he came on, great sub. That said I would have taken Rashy off and not Greenwood, Rashford was awful again last night and hasn't looked at the races since his return from injury, fingers crossed he can turn it round.

Also a special mention for Matic, I wish he was a few years younger. Martial too, the way he dribbles and commits players is a joy to watch. It's a nightmare to defend against.

Predictions for Sevilla-Wolves?

On their performance last night I'd have taken Rashford off ahead of Greenwood but can understand taking off Greenwood. Mata was the right player to bring on regardless though.

He gets quite a bit of stick from some people does Mata, I think because he isn't the most athletic of players. Despite that, he's still good at what he does and in my opinion is a far better option than James, Lingard or Pereira as a sub for the starting front 3 or Bruno.

I’d have probably taken Rashford off instead of Greenwood, but the introduction of Mata certainly had a positive impact on the game - so it worked, I guess.

It was definitely a better choice than bringing Matic and Lindelof on at 70 minutes when we needed a goal to avoid extra time, but again, it’s hard to be too critical considering we got the result we needed. Lord knows if he hadn’t made that change and we’d conceded he’d have been torn apart though.

I wouldn’t want Ole’s job.

Good tactical subs from OGS last night. Worked well and changed the game. Should have been 3/ 4-1 win last night but for the post and the super keeper.
