I still do not get why so many Utd fans want to crucify Pogba. Granted he hasn't set the world alight but he is capable of sublime football and in the correct team supported by good players he will shine. He did for Juve and for France.

Utd are slowly building. Last season when Bruno came in Pogba played a supporting not starring role and we never heard a peep out of him. No complaints about him no longer being the centre of attention. He sees passes that most players will never do and then he has the ability to make the pass successfully. Keep him and get more top quality players around him and we will see the benefit.

He also costs us games because he can't be bothered to track runners, or gives the ball away I bad positions because he's showing off.

When he plays for France he actually makes an effort.

He just doesn't want to be here.

I’m told he has dominated games. Name me 3 games he has dominated, in fact name me 1. You can’t because he hasn’t.

He’s all image and no substance. Clearly he has all the attributes to be one of the best footballers in the world but he rarely shows those attributes, and even when he does it is fleeting.

He’s sloppy in possession, he gives the ball away far too frequently.

You don’t get why people crucify him, I don’t get why people rate him so highly.

City away. Took the game by the scruff of the neck and dragged us back in.

As Mpez says, City away. I would also say Arsenal away, before he was sent off, the same season I believe. He tends to have periods where he is on top, then either gets injured or suspended and it takes a while for him to get into his stride again.

Call of Duty v’s Rashford and Sancho. He took those boys to the cleaners.

He never dominated the game against City. Scoring 2 goals and dominating for 90 minutes is some difference.

Apart from getting caught in possession a couple of times in games, I've actually been impressed with the way he's played once the season resumed. Tidy, understated, not trying to do too much and keeping it simple. Letting Bruno do the fancy stuff.

Salford 7, he gets grief because he is lazy and timid which makes him an ineffective footballer.

People yet confused into thinking he is good because he looks like he should be good.

That no one can name a single game where he has bossed it says everything.

Because he’s been abysmal. Not up for the fight. I can only think of the City game where he dragged us to a victory.

Not to mention the number of goals he gives away and the need for a “new challenge”.

Must be watching a different pogba to you Nou 😂.

I think people develop a view on a player sometimes, and struggle to accept when the player does well. Luke Shaw was another that people couldn't bring themselves to say played well, even when he did.

I've never been a big fan of his at all, but I'll still give credit where it's due. Watch the games back, and try and forget it's Pogba. Apart from the obvious mistake against Southampton, yes, I thought he played well.

People are going to have to come up with a definition for dominating a game otherwise peoples pre conceived biases against pogba are going to stop people saying he ever dominated a game.

Is it a game where he dictated the game from deep, a game where he scored goals and got assists? Because he has done both for us at times whether people like it or not.

DSG, it doesn't need defining. Players can dominate a game from anywhere on the pitch. You know it when you see it, no?

The problem with you know it when you see it is that point of view is prone to biases.

There are plenty of performances that if put in my bruno fernandes people would say he dominated the game. But if pogba put in that same exact performance people would say he didn't dominate the game.

Fans, football pundits are just fickle like that, they get ideas in their head, most likely fueled by media portrayals of players and are not for turning.

Its not because he is showing off, it’s because we have played Pogba too deep. He is open to being pressed and overturning the ball in a dangerous position, I said it numerous times last season, opposition took the ball off him, yet still we continued, numbing tactics. It’s how we play him that has been an issue last season. He needs to get it further forward but we can’t seem to grasp it. Maybe that is one of the reasons he doesn’t want to be here. Decisions need to be made, crazy to let him go into the last season and no doubt have it extended before he walks away for nothing. Just sell him, be realistic on price and replace him. If he wants to stay, Ed says he doesn’t, that’s different. It seems there are egos at stake amongst the amateurs, plus I suspect a loss of precious media clicks.

Dominated the game against City that's hilarious. You could also put Sanchez in the same category because he had 2 assists that day. He's done sod all since he came, all i hear is people say he has the potential to be one of the best. well when are we going to see it? 4 years and counting. The amount of times he looses possession is frightening and then he sits on his arse and throws his hands up in the air and complains to the referee that he was fouled. I am sick of hearing about him. He's done more for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram than he has for Man United.
