could we have a poll on this eds?
Who would people prefer to sign if we had were to bring in one of them as a stop gap:
Bale
Douglas Costa
Perisic.

Stop gap for what? We just about got champions league football this year if we don't strengthen the team properly this year we might not be able to get players of good enough quality next I'm not saying blow all out money on Sancho but surely there is a reasonably priced young alternative that we've scouted we can't just have expected Dortmund to give us him? Chiesa, pellistri, even ousmane dembele (loan with option) are better then the above.

Gutted if they don't reach an agreement for Sancho. I can't believe how little we have done in the transfer market when there are so many positions that need to be looked at. Right midfield / wing, centre back and we also need a centre forward. Now the rumours are Gareth Bale, we will be lucky to get 15 games out of him in a season.

We’ve extended Ighalo so Steiner fine in the eyes of the club, we’ve brought back the best young keeper in England, and signed DVB who covers all areas of depth for the midfield.

The only other areas I think we need to strengthen are RW/ RF, and maybe LB. looks like we may do a Deal with Real for both Bale and Reguilon. For me, that’s an excellent window in C.V. times. We have good young players to fill out the squad.
