Anyone think we will try bring a CB in rather than Sancho? Sneaky feeling we might try for Koulibaly if City can’t get it done.

Would a top quality CB, Telles and a short term option at right wing make us better in comparison to signing Telles and Sancho?

Id be very shocked if we got sancho now tbh. I also think unless we can sell 2/ 3 defenders a cb is unlikely. Weve spent this summer with tunnel vision on sancho like we did last summer with maguire.

No chance, we have 8 first team CB's on the books. If we signed another we could name three different back threes (Lindelof, Maguire, New CB - Bailly, Jones, Rojo - Tuanzebe, Smalling, Mengi) and that doesn't include both TFM and Shaw who could play in a back three. And we rarely play with a back three.

It looks like we'll get Alex Telles, and a RW. Sancho is the top priority. However, Sarr or Brooks look more likely.

Amz mate we could sign Upamecano and Varane and we'd still finish outside the top 4 as they'd be coached by the most inept Utd manager of the past 40yrs! My nan's cocker spaniel has more tactical acumen than Ole. His sole qualification for the job is that he used to come off the bench and score some goals for us in the previous century! The club is rotten in all departments top to bottom.

I think we will end up shifting a few out which would allow us to bring in a CB. It will be interesting to see if we shift our focus. Fabrizio is very reliable normally and if he’s saying that then it would seem we’re definitely talking about the possibility of bringing in a CB.

Trd he is one of the better ones and when he knows for sure he does get a head start on many but if you look back he gets a lot wrong too.
