Wow what a game and I have to say we were lucky to get the 3 points. we'd have been lucky to get 1. At least we won but there's a lot of work needs done moving forward.

Yeah we were poor, but at this stage of the season it’s all about getting those points on the board. Hopefully that’ll bring some confidence to the squad.

If it was any other team we wouldve lost by 5.2. Poor poor performance and a very dodgy defence.

Reading the above the feeling concerned about our fan base. Deluded and can’t even celebrate a win anymore.

Deluded and being real are two different things.

Your the deluded one that is happy to celebrate a performance like this and no wonder we are no where near challenging for trophies even after 7 years of investment.

The standards of united fans has gone down we used to aim for titles and thrash teams like Brighton and now we should be happy by nicking a goal and winning against the might Brighton. Lollll.

Giggsy,

Unreal isn’t it, I was on my knees watching that penalty and went mad when we scored it, I could only imagine what the fans would have been like at the game or if I had been there, legs and arms everywhere.

Enjoy the win, 3 points, we’ve played a lot better and lost, so good when you win, we aren’t fully up to speed and after last week this is a confidence boosting win.

Maybe because we were hopeless today and against palace.

United allowed Brighton to play like they are top four material who are little rusty and we looked like relegation favourites who got vital three points. Don't know why VDB didn’t start the game. Amount of Goal scoring chances we created in open play was almost nothing.
@Caolan_2. If we Played Scintillating football and lost a game which should have been won comfortably then that performance can bring confidence to the squad. This win will bring nothing. This is only putting paper on cracks.

Singh, you can celebrate the win, rather than the performance. Why would you not be happy when your team wins? Chelsea 2-0 down to WBA. I think we have to realise there's no easy games in the EPL anymore.

Im celebrating the win but not the performance.

Chelsea are 3-0 down.

But Lampard gets a much easier ride, especially in the media. Couldn't get promoted with Derby with everything set up for him, and finished below us last season but gets nowhere near the amount of abuse from his own fans as ours.

Spot on with that Nou. Fat Frank gets a very easy ride.

Can you imagine if we’d spent £200m and drew against West Brom? The daggers would be out.

he will this season if he wins nothing with what they have spent.

Midfield_maestro- off course it brings confidence? That’s what winning does. It doesn’t matter how you win, yep we were rubbish today but take some positives for goodness sake.

Tim totally agree WOW what a game and yes the team needs a hell of a lot of work, we just don't get tight to the opposition, plus 4-2-3-1 just allows them to play through us, as the 3 do not get back to cover.

I think our rival fans celebrated the goal as well - buys Ole some more time.
