Poor performance but 3 points. We will play 10 times better than that this season and come away with nothing. Points are all that matters early doors. Let's see where we are in terms of personnel next time out. Let's hope for a couple of additions.

We played 10 times better than that in the Europa league semi final and lost the game having been the team missing the chances, sometimes that’s how it goes, big 3 points today and will hopefully give the team confidence to go on, Brighton are a decent side as they have proved all season so far.

Im intrigued to see how the season bans out. Atm atleast it feels like we can only get better. Was a poor performance but a vital win. Tough games coming up so its going to be interesting.

Simon, Ole may not be the worst but he isn't anywhere near the vicinity of even good. We were outplayed today by a far superior side. But i ain't complaining. 3 points.

It’s going to be an interesting season. I feel arsenal will be dark horses and may sneak 3rd. But I feel the top 4 is going to be a real battle this season. Top 2 city and pool but Everton, Spurs, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea and Leicester will be a real fight for top 4. Will be an exciting season.

I don't think Leicester will be as big a threat for top 4 this season. I think the Europa League will take a toll on their injury hit squad. And also they have Brendan Rodgers as managers whose teams get progressively worse every season and he can't coach a defence to save his life.

James we only finished 3rd last season because of that blvery same logic. We were crap but others were worse. People will say anything to justify their point.

Think we all need to relax and stop over reacting game to game. Good win today - side clearly not fit yet, but we showed great resolve under the cosh and won in Fergie Time. This 2 additional points could prove pivotal at the end of the season for the fight for 3/ 4th (which is where we are right now without more investment) . We will only improve.

That’s their 3rd game Shan and they have played well in them all including a 3-0 win last week, so yea, good to beat them imo.
