I didn’t see the game as I was working but by all accounts we payed poorly, not on the heels of the Palace poor performance.

We were the form team post lockdown, could and should have seen Seville off and finished above Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, and Leicester. Yet after 2 poor displays there are meltdowns on here. I’m not saying we don’t need reinforcements or are ready to challenge the top 2 but blimey, you’d think the world was ending.

I listed what I thought we need to do and the issues we have with structure last week, but perhaps we are just not match ready yet? We finished last season very late with the team looking knackered, and we are then pretty much right back at it. Maybe, just maybe we need to see how the next month pans out.

we need to see what the squad looks like after the deadline and then see where we are and how we are playing. Too reactionary from many- great result today after we more than rode our luck. All top teams win ugly.

Hasnt everyone had the same rest period?

Im sure we were given an extra week off becuase of how far we got in europe.

The main issue for me is we lack energy and desire to want to win the ball or close down.

Maybe its match fitness but certain players need dropping for others.

A lot of players do look knackered, Wan Bissaka was dead on his feet towards the end. But why don't City and others look unfit, something wrong with our training methods?

Inhope city didn’t look tired, yet tailed off massively and wolves could have scored two or three. In fact they should have. City scored late on via a deflection. No teams are at their peak yet.

Inhope we need special treatment.
We knew beforehand the schedule and planned the way we wanted, now is time to make excuses.
