Ed Woodward is a jammy bugger. Bracing himself for the media storm tomorrow, then Liverpool go and do that.

Woodward?

Makes you wonder if they’ve not invested as they’re having doubts about his ability of OGS and his suitability to get the best out of a €120m investment like Sancho?

Just got van de beek, cavani and telles? Not investing?

They did the same with Jose and didn’t back him in his last season. The board may push that excuse if results continue though.

Yep, Woodward. Rightly or wrongly, the media focus, especially with the haphazard nature of our transfer window, was going to be on him and the board, more than it would have been on the manager.

Tim, must be a different manager. They've backed Ole quite a bit I think.

Yeah, maybe so but not sure if that's right. Ole has been backed heavily, got a great squad and further improvements being made as we speak. I think it should be him looked at tomorrow.

hes been backed and made the players worse.

He’s been backed yes but that’s past tense That was last season you don’t suddenly stop because that then becomes not backing. As it stands I think our net spend is about 30mil and one player signed. That isn’t backing a manager and a day before deadline day. Clubs need constant reinvesting even if you win the league, you still need to to bring players in. We all know this isn’t a squad capable to a title challenge, it was lucky to finish 3rd, this was the perfect opportunity to get players in especially as we have CL to offer will we next year? That’s what’s happens when you stand still.
The way this club operates is crazy. Some of you guys are blind. You all want the short term fix sack the manager.

Bang on daz.
Tony pulis would have us looking more like a dream than ole does. The disorganization is frightening. Nothing like a cohesive unit.

Angel this is not a great squad. The only defender worth his salt is wan bissaka.

ken like a lot have said it is the best squad in a few years. not one player has moved on they have gone backwards and to me its not rocket science but a manager whos level was at molde. if you asked any of the top ten if they wanted our coaching staff it would be a circus of laughter.

Caolan, easily the best squad we have had in years.

Liverpool have likely kept Ole at the wheel for a few more months.

Ole knows how to tell a forward how to score, but he isn’t able to organise a team structure, a pattern or how to defend. His in game management is awful. The only reason he is still manager is because of the emotional sentimental attachment. Woodward and co have made a mess but to let the manager situation continue after that yesterday plus the two previous performances is abject abdication of running a football club. Ole should be gone this morning and use the international break to start the recruitment process.
