I thought it was just noise from the media,

But Bruno and ole are not on the same page and the squad is divided.

Next 2 games will determine if the squad want to fight for ole and keep him his job.

Would rather rally behind Bruno, an actual character fit to wear the shirt tbh.

Big V

Lot of talk the players are unhappy with how Romero has been treated. No idea if that is Ole or the decision makers but were we really scared to sell him to Everton? Is that who we now see as a main competitor? No offence whatsoever to Everton, a club I have said on here I have a soft spot for since 1985 Wembley, but surely the thinking at senior level hasn’t dropped that far given Everton’s troubles in recent decades. If the hierarchy are that afraid then they have the wrong people in charge. They should have given Romero the move and had confidence in what we were doing. More underlying problems to deal with.

because he needs to grow a pair of bollocks and drop under performing players.

I agree Redman,

Ole also apparently refused some back room staff that was suggested to him to help him and the team.

Rejected it, which to me only leads to people above him not having full confidence in him.

Heard rumours but nothing concrete yet?

Bolger

I don’t think it is that simple. If you have someone in the dressing room like Bruno, a canny leader and manager will use it, direct it to get the others going. By substituting him it showed Ole felt threatened by what he said. Weakness. May well be that others think what Bruno said had merit, when he was subbed they now feel they can’t say anything and perhaps only those in Ole’s favour can be heard. Don’t underestimate what DvB’s agent said, now. May just have been bluster, but it could well have come from DvB having seen what the dressing room was like. The noise is they like Ole the person but don’t think he has what it takes, it goes back to the word Gravitas I used for Moyes. They may try for Ole because they like him, but there are unlikely to be any great achievements because they don’t believe in him. We may even win on Saturday, my guess is we will go to 5.3.2 but labelled as 3.5.2 yet it will only paper over the cracks.

Interesting Big V, hadn’t heard that about the back room staff being offered. I had seen there are those in the club who have felt for 18 months Ole wasn’t good enough, is the balance beginning to swing?

No idea if the rumours are true or if it's just a lazy international week page filler.
Would anybody be surprised if the rumours are true?
The treatment of romero has been poor. Dropping him for both semi finals was an ugly thing to do. Then for the club to block his move was pathetic. God almighty if jose had done that the anti bully brigade would be out in force again accusing him of all sorts.
Ole is not a good football manager at this level. He is getting more and more exposed as being out of his depth as the weeks go on.
We have nearly completed 10% of our league campaign. i'm not in favour of waiting until 20% of the season is gone before acting. It could be too late by then.
SOS. SAVE OUR SEASON
SOS. SACK OLE SOON.

It's all speculation at this point. McTominay has come out and said the whole squad is behind the manager, while Bruno has denied any falling out with the manager.

Ultimately a little under two weeks ago we lost 1-6 to Spurs. International weeks are always slow for football news. It's was obvious speculation about Ole was going to happen. First it was Pochettino circling, then it was Ed Woodward is prepared to sack Ole, now it's the dressing room has turned against the manager.

Sadly unless we see a reaction against Newcastle this speculation won't go away.

While I'm on the fence as to whether the dressing room has turned against the manager, I haven't seen anything yet to suggest it has, the truth is that IF the dressing room turns against the manager, any manager, then it is only a matter of time before they get sacked.

While we might like to see a club back a manager over the players. The reality is that it is the players who bring in all the money. It is their faces the club use to sell the brand, the players names on the back of the shirts the club sell. While the reality of selling half a squad and replacing them would be so horrendously expensive that a mere 10m payout to a sacked manager is by far the cheapest and easiest outcome.

The story of Bruno going absolutely crazy etc and falling out with maguire and ole came from a youtuber or some twitter account apparently.

I would not think there has been a falling out as such. There are lots of heated rows in dressing rooms. I'm sure whatever happened is dead and buried. These things happen. I'd like to think everybody is mature enough just to get over it.

Caolan2

There are more reports that Bruno has lost faith with Solskjaer, doesn’t feel he is strong or capable enough. There is a lot of noise but the one fact we know is that rather strangely Bruno was substituted at half time, leaving others who were far worse on the pitch.

Red man it makes sense to bring the AM off when you’re down to 10 men playing 4-2-3-1. It’s the logical move.

I think it’s all a fuss over nothing but another stick to beat Ole with.

Oh redman from Duncan Castles? Surely the transfer window alone shows that he’s not worth listening too.

Caolin

It is in the press, not sure who Duncan Castles is, but if it came originally from him then so be it. I don’t know if he is accurate or not, I don’t review what he says.

There is a lot of noise, which will be denied, the players like Ole, will probably try on Saturday, we will probably win and the mess will be perpetuated.

16.) 15 Oct 2020
15 Oct 2020 11:43:18
It came from Castles. If he told me it was sunny I’d bring a rain coat. Bruno himself has said it’s a lot of rubbish so move on and stop worrying about a load of absolute drivel in the press.

17.) 15 Oct 2020
15 Oct 2020 11:59:46
There's maybe a lot of noise because so many people like yourself, repost nonsense without doing any sort of checks on the veracity of the story. A big long thread here, and not one concrete piece of information in it, until Caolan mentioned Castles. Like a bunch of aul women.

18.) 15 Oct 2020
15 Oct 2020 12:57:36
Interesting but when the same rumours were said about Mourinho and the dressing room, there were hundreds of posts on here and no disputing it, no dismissal as no concrete evidence or that it was nonsense.

I don't believe any rumours I read in the press. Until I hear it from the parties involved, it's just fluff to me. Jose threw certain players under the bus, and fell out with others, by actually saying it to the media direct. Classic whataboutery used to deflect, though.
