I am sure that everyone will agree that getting the basics right is essential if we are to progress at all.
1. It we are playing out from the back do not pass across the defence as this is likely to be intercepted and lead to a goal opportunity.
2.Form triangles on the wings with full back, midfeild and winger/ wide attacjer supporting each other. This will lead to successful and attacking play in wide positions.
3. Play players who can retain the ball in midfield and not give it away like Fred and Pogba do. My favoured midfeild is Matic, Mata and Fernandes.
4. Play an out and out striker alongisde a number 10 - pick from Cavani and Ighalo as strikers and Rashford and Greenwood as number 10s
5. Get behind the defence to cross to create chances -that is how we used to platy and it worked.
Please discuss and tell me I am talking rubbish,

My memory might be hazy, but i don't think we create very much. Many of our goals come from pieces of individual skill rather than our players getting “assists”. Think to years gone by and Beckham putting in crosses for Ruud, or Rooney Ronaldo Tevez link up. Work for eachother.
Now it seems like. Give ball to fast player and hope they do something. Which brings me on to the use of Cavani, he has come on in games but not once have we actively looked to play to his strengths. He is a poacher, workhorse type player. Yet we don't play to that style. We play with what you might call wing forwards right across the front. It seems we don't really have plan B or C.
