A lot has been said about the strength of our current squad, so I wondered if we have a strong squad then what would your first 11 look like in two years time with a maximum of 4 transfers in to the squad. I find this quite interesting, everyone has signed 4 players and stuck them straight in the first team. Surely if we have a great squad then we already have the players we need? While it's interesting that players like Garner, Mengi and Williams feature on the bench ahead of players like Shaw, Lindelof, Fred, Lingard etc. It's almost like those players aren't considered good enough, and that people would rather put their faith in our youth coming good.

I think it highlights that most people see the same weaknesses, central defence, CDM and RW.

For what it's worth I'd probably go with:

Rice, DvdB
Bruno
Sancho, Greenwood, Rashford

With a bench of:

I would go with Henderson Bissaka Tuanzebe Konate Telles- Tonali Saul Bruno- Neymar Martial Greenwood.
This team have perfect balance in Defence, pace physicality height and all our good with the ball except Bissaka.
Midfield with good balance too who can take possession against anyone, one perfect passer and two good passers. One player to sit deeper and distate tempo and two at numper eight with energy creativity who can play between the lines and run with the ball.
I think people underestimate Neymar, he is unplayable and the best in the world when in form. Although i agree that he is problematic and selfish. But for now he is far better lw than anyone i think.
If i could make one more change i would change Martial with a top right winger so Greenwood plays up top.

Also Shappy, most people would keep AWB, and in the first eleven as well, despite people here having problem with his offensive side.
Im a bit surprised that so many are willing to change DDG for Henderson.
I would like to commend DSG line up, as he switched to a different formation, which is something I think we could go for. Perhaps I just wouldn't take Rice.
