Ole went with 5 at the back against PSG and won. He then played 4 at the back against them and lost. He played 4 at the back against a Leipzig defence which is a bit shaky and won. He went 5 at the back tonight and lost.
He kept Fred on against PSG who was a red card waiting to happen.
Tonight, he takes off Telles to keep on Shaw who’s on a yellow and then subs off Shaw to bring on another left back in Williams. Honestly, I do not get the tactics or the team shape.
As soon as we lost to Istanbul you could see this happening. Another match where you’re left scratching your head at how appalling we were.
There is enough evidence this season that shows he’s not good enough. The league position is false. As were so inconsistent, we either kick on and fix our errors or we do the opposite. City is a massive game and the fixtures beyond that are not easy. We could easily find ourselves mid table again.

Right now, it’s only the league position keeping him in the job. Barce, Madrid and PSG will all have their eyes on Pochettino or Allegri for sure. I think we need to make a bold decision and bring Poch in. I’m not sure if he is the answer but he knows the league and has played against our players plenty of times.
He will have an idea of what to do and will bring structure, an identity and patterns of play.
Our players are severely lacking in coaching. It’s unbelievable the mistakes we make during matches.
Absolutely gutted.

I'm not sure Pochettino would be a good choice. He lost his way in the end at Spurs. I think working with Levy didn't help.

I think we all know Ole is on borrowed time and it is now just a matter of when he is let go rather than if. Under our current management, unless there is a catastrophic downturn in results, I suspect they will let the season play out before making a switch in the summer.
Even though I'm not a big fan of Poch, I wouldn't be too displeased to see him turn up in June with VDS as DoF, at least we might start to get some consistency and direction.

I wonder what the managment wants. Perhaps they would like someone like Nagelsman, but I don't see him leaving, after they quialified further. Perhaps Ole will even make it through the season, and then be replaced with someone like Nagelsman.

It is not whether they are good enough, are they the right fit for us.
