With City having a game cancelled and positive tests elsewhere, things could all get a bit complicated in the coming weeks.

I thought the Premier League had a 14 player rule but they haven’t enforced it, I would guess over concerns that other players are also infected.

We can hope that clubs are on top of this but it seems not, a few more games cancelled and things will get very tricky given the late start to the season.

why did LO have to forfeit the cup tie against spurs but city can get a game cancelled 4 hours before kick off. same with Newcastle villa.

unless you can't field a team the game should take part.

seems 1 rule for some and 1 rule for the rest.

Wouldn’t be surprised with more cancelled games. I suspect that a number of players have been breaking the rules over Christmas and cases are bound to happen. Walker has form for breaking C.V. restrictions too.

I think this is only the start.
Im not sure what the rules are but the don't override player and human safety. If the medical advise is not to play i don't care if its 4 hours or 4 days before the game. You don't play.
We are highly likely to see more of this over the next few weeks.
Safety first in my opinion. Or we may have no football at all.

Yh agreed with ken, this could have easily have been us in that situation and i'm sure we would have done the same as city in requesting a postponement.

If the whole squad has to self isolate on the back of serval new cases in the camp, how can they play? Pretty simple. No agenda here.
