It's a shame, but was always going to happen. While I think this is a genuine case of cultural mix up, the reality is that they can't let it slide.

He misses the Villa game in the league, the league cup semi against City and the FA cup tie against Watford.

Even if one of them get postponed there is the Burnley game before we play Liverpool. So a big chance for him to comeback with the winning goal versus Liverpool.

Except they really aren't spenno. He used Spanish to communicate without another spanish speaker. There was nothing racist in what he said in the context or language it was said in. Its the English translation and context of the words when they are used in English the reason he is getting a ban.

It is a good thing Alvaro negredo doesn't play in England anymore or by FA logic he would either have to change his name or keep getting banned and have to do face to face education like cavani is supposed to.

Didn't Bernado Silva get a 1 game ban for pretty much the same thing? He needs educating and it was stupid but he didn't do it maliciously.
