Gary Neville drove me insane last night going on about the tackle by Luke Shaw. It clearly was a foul by Shaw, that i am not disputing but Neville kept on repeating the same thing over and over again saying "he's not got any touch on the ball, he's in trouble here" when clearly Shaw did get a touch on the ball which basically stopped him from getting a red card.

Gary Neville has this tendency to be over-biased against Utd so that he can't be accused of being biased in UTD's favour. Unfortunately this leads him getting it wrong on a lot of occasions.

I was just going to post getting sick of Gary Neville's commentary. Sometimes you think he's a Liverpool supporter.

He was shocking last night, i had to mute the sound in the end until he finished his sill little rant. Talk about being over biased is an understatement.

He apologised on twitter, said the producer and Stockley Park was in his ear and he knew he wasn't very good. He is usually fine, last night was so weird from him at times.

It was like he couldn’t see what we could all see. ‘He didn’t get the ball’. Yes he did Gary.

G Nev was doing my head in yesterday too.

I also think his Co Comms are nowhere near as good than when he started out.

Danny Higginbotham is #1 for me.

Neville's 'he didn't get the ball' comment was really winding me up as clearly he did! A faint touch and appreciate momentum then went into the Burnley player but there was no malice in that and I thought it was grossly unfair to give a yellow. Especially when you consider Brady's more obvious red / denial of clear goalscoring opportunity was then negated. I think that and Maguire's goal disallowed were both suspect. I appreciate there was a handball shout against Maguire also and obviously Pogba's winner was deflected. Though I'd still say Burnley had more luck in that game.

It was a great win. Actually played quite well in the second half and there only looked like being one winner.

Winning last night was actually more important than the Liverpool game if only because we were expected to win. let's be honest we have had great results recently bar the City cup game but could've easily dropped 4 points against Wolves and Villa based on how we played. So last night was return to a game we really deserved to win.

Obviously the Liverpool game is massive. But we can get beat (as most would expect at the start of the season) and still be second potentially.

It is such a fascinating title race this year and we are definitely in it. That said I think, City, Liverpool, Everton, Leicester and Spurs are all in it too.

I think City have a few easy games now and expect they will be top come end of the month and probably in May also. We just have to keep grinding out results though.

I was surprised Neville didn't mention how fantastic Leeds were in defeat as well.
