Intersting article in the Telegraph today regarding pogba. - note you'll find the full article on reddit of you search for it so can avoid the pay wall.

Paints him as a much loved player in the dressing room, bu players and manager alike, and someone quite humble who brings gifts to the tea lady.

Not sure what to male of it, but a very different picture to what fans often paint.

Personally, I'd love him to stay and want to be here and be happy, but I've no idea if he does.

{Ed077's Note - he has always been known to be a really good person by all accounts. Just sometimes media try to make him out to be a devil, and and person, ala Raheem Sterling.

The only thing that has annoyed me about Pogba are his poor performances over the years. Apart form last December/ beginning of January, his performances have been poor.

There's a shocking amount of typos and grammatical errors in that post.

What's your thoughts on him Ed? Would you want him to stay? Do you think he will?

{Ed077's Note - I dont want him to stay because he has expressed his desire to leave on numerous occasions and in the recent seasons has started to miss significant number of games due to injury.

I think Pogba had all the qualities, on paper, to become the best midfielder in the world but never put it all together to perform on a consistent basis for whatever reason.

IMO Pogba wont stay. If we dont facilitate a move in the summer, he might end up leaving on a free. (Re-emphasise: Just an Opinion)}

Similar to Balotelli, who would frequently turn up at schools unannounced to sign autographs and take gifts to the kids. On another night he had a fireworks party. in his kitchen. I think players are often misrepresented. A story about Raheen Sterling with a gun on his thigh is sadly more likely to sell papers than one talking about the millions I suspect he gives to good causes.

I have a cousin who was a youth player at Spurs a few years back. He'd always tell me about the players who went out of their way to stay behind and mingle, or do unexpected good deeds with their time and money. There was one he named (very paces winger) who would always be the first one away and not give one second or penny more. I guess there are lots of both kinds of player but I suspect in general we only hear the bad.

I have nothing against Pogba the person. I'm sure he's a lovely guy. I have a problem with Pogba the footballer. He's constantly batting eyelashes at the big clubs, using his agent as his mouth piece who belittles our club at every opportunity. He's turned in average performances for years and should have been shown the door a long time ago.

It isn't a coincidence that he's starting to perform when his contract is nearly done and he's in the shop window.

He won't be missed when he's gone.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Pogba's agent ever being anything other than entirely honest about the club.}

Ed002, it doesn't matter whether Pogba's agent has been honest or not. I find it unprofessional that he should make his views known on his client's employer.

{Ed002's Note - He is not unprofessional, just teasing the amateurs.}

Its Rinola's MO, there isn't a club in Europe that he hasn't upset at some time by trying to engineer his player to move.

Just look at what he did at Ajax 20 years ago, when he was caught speaking on the phone to Moggi at Juventus saying he would force the Zlatan move through by telling him not to turn up for training and turning up late for meetings with the club.

Similar stories can be heard from the likes of Real, Napoli, Liverpool, Barca, Milan, its not just United.

{Ed002's Note - Folks make things up all of the time.}

002 said years ago that he is a good guy. I too believe he is a nice guy.
My problem is that he is not giving 100% and he usually only cares of moments for highlights rather doing the dirty work and what's good for the team.

Personally I’d keep him as he adds something to our midfield. Who will have the cash to buy him this summer? We will be asking for £50m, and Thr clubs who may go for him have finer priorities/ no cash!

I'd like to keep him. There won't be as much silly money floating around this summer with loans probably more likely although I expect Haaland will be the only 100m+ transfer.

Sorry Ed but I'm not having that. His behaviour is not teasing, it's manipulative. Pogba is still under contract and Rinola is the one acting like an amateur.

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid that you really don't understand the situation. Mino offered Haaland but Manchester United didn't like the terms and he went to Dortmund. Manchester United have cut off all contact with Mino over Paul Pogba - which is stupid.}
