City have the best squad in the epl.
City has the best coach in the world who eats tactics for breakfast.
Pep would not be at city forever, all utd has to do is to build a team capable of capitalizing when city has a blip. Klopp did a brilliant job doing one season over pep. He pushed his players to the limit, we are all witnessing the effect of that push this season.

Great point re Klopp. Liverpool looked immense for two seasons. They now looked shot though. I don’t see a great resurgence from them. City will always be the team to beat while Pep there I think. Frightening prospect if they get either Haaland or Kane but think that’s inevitable.

I don't think Liverpool have played as poorly as their league position suggests.

They haven't been as physically dominant as they were last season, with reductions seen in all metrics from presses, sprints, distance covered etc.

Yet the real drop off has been in their front three, who have had more chances than we have had but have converted far less. Confidence and motivation play a huge role and they just seem off the pace.
