Do we have any members on here from Asia or Africa or even America? What are you thoughts on watching United v Juventus or United v Milan every week? I love a home game in January v West Brom, but do your fanbase in your countries want Elite v Elite every game? Only asking as this must be where this new ESL will make its money.

I'm in Canada, and they won't make any money from me.

That's great Davy, my post is mostly about the fans who only want to see what they consider to be the big games. The majority of fans who will watch this ESL will never have been to England, yet alone got a ticket to OT or Anfield. I personally think they would pay the money to watch United on TV against the so called elite teams, where I love watching in the stadium versus Leeds or West Ham or any other club.
The big European games when they come around were a treat if I got a ticket.

I am from America (lived in Watford for 4 years) . I have loved United since a little boy, but as much as it pains me, I will not support should this go ahead.

As an American, I am not typical as I do not support our sport over here (other than college athletics) because I despise the system. The promotion / relegation, the opportunity to come from the lowest levels and progress to the biggest stage (Vardy) has a draw that is so captivating. If the Super League goes ahead, those dreams will be dashed and the very thing that keeps me from US sports will now pollute the beautiful game I so love.

I am from India and I would be totally against the idea.

A system where the team essentially plays over-glorified friendlies against the so-called big names of European football every week is something I wouldn't be in support of, ever. If it does go through, somehow, beyond all the opposition against it from fans, players and coaches, that will be end of me as a Manchester United fan.
