Can it really be true, Edward Woodward has resigned.

{Ed002's Note - Obviously he has to go.}

Well 1 less amature at the club now for the owners to go.

How could he stay. He pushed for this new league to make the glaziers lots of money and now it's falling apart.

He has to go so best of now.

Why ed002?

{Ed002's Note - The club has been embarrassed and put in a dreadful position by him and the owners (one in particular).

Woodward has lurched from misstep to misstep in his time at the helm. This is just the culmination. His disastrous approach to transfers, to contract negotiations (with ed002 having detailed previously how he has ignored the advice of consultants in both of these), the embarrassing "leaking" of inside stories to the BBC and others, the manner in which he fired LVG in particular (sacking him was right but not how it was done) . It's not right to relish in someone's misfortune but him stepping down was long overdue.
