Pointless signing. Massive wages, signing fees and agents etc, as well as being 36. We need to focus on younger long term signings.

I would have loved to have had him back when he was younger.

I have a feeling it will happen if cavani leaves, we seem to sign players in their twighlight years to set examples to the younger players. I have mixed feelings to be honest. On the plus as a cf he would score 20 goals and give his knowledge and experience to rashy and Mason. But it comes with a high cost wages wise and could potentially stop us signing a younger long term target who could benefit us more long term. They say you should never date an ex girlfriend and its that kind of feeling for me.

Well we had Ibra, then Cavani, both successes I’d say, so if the current model is to sign 1-2 younguns plus one old head in the twilight of his career with unfinished business, why not. It would be great to see him in the shirt for a season and as with the other fore-mentioned stalwarts he’d be a real role model and great for the younger players to learn from.
