on a completely different topic and as a neutral England for me are coming into a golden generation of what I consider to be really top attacking talent.
Players with huge potential and imo a couple of future potential balon dor winners.
Foden, Mount, Rashfod, Greenwood, Maddison, sancho, bellingham Hudson Odi, grealish, dcl, sterling all young and hungry.
Not all will make it and may not have longevity but its not easy to pick 3 from that lot to compliment kane.
They won't all even make the squad for the euros.

Good post ken. I think it's as talented a bunch of players England have ever had.

not as well off with keepers or centre halves but apart from that they are very well off. Talented bunch imo.

I think this is probably potentially one of the best young England teams in my life time.

Keepers I think are solid in Pope and Henderson, although I don't rate Pickford.

At full back there are some really good options, especially at RB. However, Shaw, Chilwell and even Saka shouldn't be slept on at LB.

Midfield and forward line looks stacked, too many to take to a tournament to be honest. any of Henderson, Rice, Phillips, Maddison, Grealish, Mount, Foden, Bellingham, Winks and Alli could all count themselves a little unlucky if they don't make the plane.

While we have forward options of Kane, Sterling, Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Harvey Barnes, Watkins, DCL, Hudson-Odoi, Abraham, Eze, and Smith-Rowe coming through. Saka of course could also play as a forward or a full back.

The real issue with this England squad is at CB, Stones looks like he has found some top form. Maguire is okay at international level (which for me is a step down from the EPL) . Then we have some fairly average players like Keane, Mings, Tarkowski, etc. While we have a few promising young players like Godfrey, White and Joe Gomez (if he can stay fit) who for me should be taken ahead of the likes of Mings or Tarkowski. There not quite ready yet, but by the next tournament they could be first choice.
