So this season the European titles will either go to Manchester or London.

As much as i think the London sides are the underdogs on both competition, I am a very bad feeling that both trophies will end up there.

Well! I don't really care who wins the CL as i wouldn't be happy with any result but the EL will be very tough.

As much as Arsenal are playing rubbish and are underdogs, we have struggled against them during Ole's tenure, so can't say i am relaxed about it. They were rubbish in spain but i predict they will somehow manage to go to finals.

Time is going to tell where both trophies will end up.

First of all, we need to qualify for the EL final, as do Arsenal.

I think it's great to see 2 English sided in the final. I'd rather see Chelsea win it. I like tuchel. Like a breath of fresh air imo.
Says it like it is in his opinion and if the players don't like it though. If the fans don't like it though. Moves on straight after the game too. Snowflakes won't be tolerated or persevered with. If you play crap he will tell you the press and anyone that will listen but that won't mean he will exclude you from the next one. Not all players respond to that. But the best ones will.
The final will have 2 top class players who have all the talent and the works at their feet. Either imo are potential balon dor winners.
Mount and foden 2 players that ooze class and are improving at a rate greater than most. Should be a good final.
I hope we get arsenal in the final in the EL. We are miles better than then all season. In a final anything can happen but I'd fancy our chances.

Mad Hatter,

I don't believe we will throw 4 goals lead at Roma mate. I don't want to sound over confident but we are pretty much in finals.

As for Arsenal, as i said, i believe they will somehow manage to beat Villareal.

DonRed,

Yes I know mate. Hence i explained that they will probably overcome Villareal at home and meet us at finals.

Ken,

If i had my way, i would void the CL final (LOL) . But i agree with you, Tuchel has really been a breath of fresh air and has really lift this Chelsea team up.

As for us against Arsenal, we have been better team for long time but for some reason aren't able to win against them recently so can't say anything about one off game.

Amazing how Chelsea appoint a top manager and make notable improvements in weeks, get to two major finals. They are not talking about DNA there are they.

I like Tommy T tbf, Chelsea done well getting him in. As for the CL final I'd rather the game was abandoned and scrubbed from the history books. Would prefer Chelsea I guess, least they've some fans to witness the win.
As for EL, it would not shock me one jot if we lost 4-0 lol but we should be there, this wanting arsenal, not sure, we don't seem to do well against them recently.

Its not that amazing redman. Lits of good players there. They were under achieving under Frank. Of course there is no guarantee they will beat city in either final but I think they are currently the best 2 teams in England. Chelsea have been great to watch since tuchel came in.
But ole had his sights on a top 4 finish and got it and is in a cup final. Its a start.

I watched Chelsea last night, they played with a structure, a method, were quick and precise, every player knew their position and job. That is after a few weeks. After 3 years we are still ragtag and I just can’t say the same about us. Ps Didn’t Chelsea beat City in the FA Cup semi.

What? You are talking heresy, City and Chelsea best two teams in the country, surely with us being 2nd in the league, we are second best?

Tuchel has to be the leading candidate for manager of the year, two major finals in six months is pretty impressive. Chelsea will probably start next season as favourites for the title as well.

Best outcome imo- city to beat chelsea this week (city are league winners or as good as ) chelsea to rest players in run in get 5th then win champions league to qualify for next year cl. That way city don't jump around with a treble (albeit EPL, League cup and Cl ) not the Fa cup and we restructure and stop both of em from winning anything next season. Sounds good when I say it out loud . lol.

Tuchel is a good manager, I'm not sure he is a great one though. Chelsea have had many top manager, yet Di Matteo is the only Chelsea manager to have won the UCL with them so far.

Cup competitions always require a certain amount of luck, but credit to Chelsea they have been much improved since the change in manager. They have a very good squad, while Liverpool might have the better first 11, I think it might be far to say Chelsea have the better squad.

If United and Arsenal make it to the EL final then we will will have the second all English European finals in 3 years.

Its great for English football. While each team has at least a couple of top young English players. Foden, Mount, Saka and Greenwood are probably my four favourite young English players to watch.

Foden looks like a future Balon D'or winner to me.

Mount is just ridiculous, he can play in the double pivot, as a free 8, a No.10 or out wide and it doesn't matter where he plays he influences the game. From a 22 year old to be able to impact the game at the highest level regardless of where he is played is astonishing. It also makes a mockery of the excuses made for players like Pogba when they struggle and we are told they aren't playing in their "best" position.

Saka showed great promise at LB and LWB, but like Bale he looks like he needs to be played further forward to really make the most of his abilities. Personally I'd probably pick him over Sancho for our RW spot.

Greenwood for me looks like a young RvP, which is a huge compliment as in my life time as a United supporter I feel that RvP was the best striker we had. The skill, the control, the way he hit the ball with little back lift but hit it so cleanly he would still get unbelievable power and accuracy, he could score all sorts of goals, he could run off the shoulder or drop deep and build play, he could score left foot, right foot or head. I don't believe we have had a more complete striker. I feel Greenwood could be as good, but unlike RvP we would get him potentially for his whole career rather than just the final few years.

I worry about Greenwood’s attitude. I’ve heard a few things and he often looks grumpy, hopefully he’s just young and will mature well.
