Talk about making it hardwork. Roma were unlucky to not go through tonight.

At least we have made it past a semi under Ole. Hopefully we can beat Villareal in the final.

Wouldn’t quite go that far, they lost 8-5 and we never got out of 2nd gear tonight, especially 2nd half where we rested a few. They needed 4 more goals to get through, wouldn’t say they were unlucky.

Ddg played great tonight but I can't agree that roma were unlucky not to go through.
I don't think 6 or 7 goals would have flattered them tonight but we could also have had another couple.
Decent game to watch for what was effectively a dead rubber.

It's not how well you play, it's about taking your chances.

Roma didn't take their chances. Another night and we might have been pushed through to extra time.

So MH if you miss your chances your not unlucky you have done badly ergo they are not unlucky.

Cavani missed 2 sitters in the first half. One where he lobbed keeper onto bar, one where he blasted the ball at the keepers face. They were better than any of the scrappy chances roma created.

It was a dead game and roma were playing for pride.
