Conte close to Spurs if u believe some reports. without doubt he has the class and ability to improve them, I'm unsure about his temperament though and how it will work with levy. Also he likes to be backed and Are Spurs going to be able to do that unless they sell Kane? Could be fireworks in more ways than one.

I’d have liked conte for us personally. I think he’d have quite happily called out the glazers if he wasn’t backed properly unlike the pe teacher.

So Pep, Klopp and Champions League winner Tuchel are in place, if Conte goes to Spurs I really think we will struggle to get above them as well.

Which club would appoint Ole if he wasn’t with us?

Good, I hope Conte goes to Tottenham and not us, would be like Mourinho (even though I had high hopes when Mourinho came in) . I'd take Simeone for his passion and tactics, might not be fantasy football but we'd be horrible to play against. Ideally take Andrea Berta too from Atletico as a Director.

Supasub

Simeone is someone who I suggested a long while ago but I can’t see the club have the guts to make a decision.

All those other clubs mentioned above, clearly have more ambition than we do…we will talk a good game about transfers etc but I doubt we will back it up, and even if we do I now don’t trust ole to get the best out of the squad. Fully expect us to be scrapping about for 4th next year, I don’t want to be pessimistic but I just can’t see how we match the improvement I expect from others.

Ole will gone by xmas. Nothing he has done makes me think we will close the gap again next year. He will have no progress to hide behind.
Performances on the pitch are woeful have declined since his first 6 weeks in the job.
Problem we will have is who will be available and who will actually want to come to a club run by muppets. To be fair we will appoint from within or give it to southgate.

Bet Mourinho is loving the thought of Conte sitting at his old desk, those two despised each other.

He seems a good fit. He turned Chelsea's season around with the now-famous formation switch to a back three then everyone started doing it. But he had much better players back then.

I wonder if selling Kane would be the best option if it gave him 3-4 other players as they have a few weak areas.

Everyone else will improve ten fold and utd will get worse. We will be relegated by christmas. We are all doomed.

Starting to only come on this page for a giggle.

What are your hopes for next season Dodgy?

My hopes mumbles? Win the epl.

Here's the thing, no team had a fantastic season.

City tarnished their incredible season by blowing the UCL- which is a top priority for them - and the FA cup. Nearly a record quadruple, which almost looked odd on, but league plus league cup just doesn't quite reward their utter dominance.

Chelsea had a terrible season but ended on a high by scraping top 4 and winning the UCL. They surely feel the best going into next year, but still feel hit and miss.

Everyone was drooling over Leicester and demanding we sign their whole first team. Another flop.

Arsenal, everton, tottenham started the season with so much hope only to have a disaster.

Liverpool had a write off of a season. The injuries they had to deal with at centre back were exceptional. It gives them at least part of a pass this year, but can they turn it back on again next year? Or will they be back to a hot and cold team?

I know everyone on here seems to think we are broken. But I don't. Of course we can be better, but I took a lot of positives from last season and looking forward to starting again from scratch with a couple of new signings for each team and fans back in the stadiums.

Al the clubs did very well to keep football going through the C.V. They gave us all an outlet. I'm prepared to give more of a pass to everyone for the last 12 months. Now let's see where we can go. We are not that far away.

The difference, Dodgy, would be that the fans for other clubs will be buzzing while ours will be snoozing, like they did a few weeks ago at OT. With Ole in charge, no matter who we sign, we are in for a "dodgy" season.
